We received some amazing news from our friend, architect Alex Pijuan last week. He has been working on a special design project, themed around re-claimed materials and recycled objects, that would be featured in a gallery exhibit in December 2012. The project he decided to create was a dog RE-treat, specifically a Husky RE-treat. This is where we at Alleys Rescued Angels get excited! Not only has Alex graciously offered to raffle off his husky house, the proceeds of which to be donated to us, he also managed to get his dog RE-treat and our rescue in BARK: dog is my co-pilot magazine, winter edition.
Throughout the process he has included us in the design journey and he is creating a better awareness for animal rescue throughout the L.A. community.
